A citizen-focused application for the residents of Bhubaneswar, which allows citizens to connect with doctors for medical advice and access relevant videos, updates, and guidelines.

Role Of Sachetak App In Effective COVID Management, Awareness & Care In Bhubaneswar
With the detection of the first few cases of COVID-19 in the capital the authorities of Govt. Odisha and the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) switched into overdrive to come up with ideas and measures to put in place to prevent the spread of the virus. The Sachetak application was one among one of those many ideas to spread awareness and information.
Project Background
1. Protecting the elderly and co-morbid sections of society by getting maximum data about their medical conditions.
2. Ensuring that all essential services are made available to them at their fingertips such as essential supplies, medical consultation, and banking.
3. Real-time update of the city at ward level to caution the citizens.
4. Verified Resources on COVID made available.

Sachetak Features
The Sachetak citizen application consists of the following features
Supports resources in form of videos, images, PDFs, etc. on COVID 19 preventive measures and other services such as delivery, etc.
View updated information such as no of persons in quarantine, positive, recovered, etc. in their neighborhood and nearby areas.
Citizens can also get in touch with doctors for medical advice either via the platform or phone number available for the doctors
Citizens can share information with returnees or people moving back from different areas so they can be quarantined if necessary
Citizens can send out referrals to their friends, colleagues, relatives, etc. to download the app
Vital data such as their age, address, comorbidities, existing health conditions, etc can be shared easily and in a secure manner with authorities.
A variety of notifications such as when doctors respond to a request, change in status of their zone, etc can be availed.
Sachetak Admin provides easy access to officials for information related to people at risk, their feedback, etc.
Citizen data can be accessed via the system with various filters such as age, sex, ward/area, etc.

Doctors practicing in the user’s area can be added to the system from the admin with details like their specialization etc.
Upload data related to cases etc. daily basis to keep users updated.

The content and resources i.e. videos, useful information via images, pdf’s, etc on the application can be managed using the admin
Various officials with different levels of access can be added to the system using which they can access the required information from the system.
Information related to different wards or areas under the specific administration can be added/updated using the admin.
Returnee information for a specific area can be viewed and exported for further action.
The dashboard can be used to view overall statistics such as registered users, users by age, sex, etc.
A number of consultations received, assigned to doctors and responded, etc. can be managed from the admin. Pending ones can be re-assigned if needed.
All information available in the system can be exported to excel by officials with required access for their usage.

1. The application has helped BMC get access to the vulnerable section and get real-time updates on their symptoms
2. Citizens are provided with real-time updates on the COVId cases in their neighbourhood.
3. Elderly is provided with a single stop window for all their essentials through the application and caregiver.
4. Reporting of returnees by citizens ensures that BMC gets all local information.
